Renewal, Cancellation, And Replacement Policies

  • Validity and Renewal:
    • EP is valid for two years and can be renewed for a maximum of three years
    • Renewal applications must be submitted through the MOM platform by the company or an employment agent.
    • Submit renewal applications up to 6 months before the pass expires, but MOM needs to receive the renewal application at least 2 weeks before the expiration date.
    • If renewal isn’t possible upon expiry, you’ll need to reapply for a new pass, but there’s no guarantee of successful renewal.
  • Application Conditions and Procedures:
    • Each renewal considers new circumstances.
    • Applicants must earn at least $5,000 monthly.
    • If approved, you’ll get an in-principle approval letter.

  • If the EP card is stolen, lost, or damaged:
    • The agent must apply for a replacement card within one week.
    • If the credit card is stolen, the cardholder must submit a police report (in English or an English translation) along with the application form.
