Study Abroad Immigration
When processing an international student visa, the following documentation must be submitted：
- Original valid passport
- Photocopy of the passport
- Recent passport-sized colour photo (white background)
- Retrieval of Electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass)
- Printout for Student Visa Application (SOLAR+ System) (Student’s Signature Required)
- Photocopy of Student Visa Approval (IPA)
- Medical Examination Report (Document requirements may vary according to specific school regulations.)
Application for Study Abroad Immigration
- IPA applications are normally approved within 5-10 working days.
- The months of July and August, when there are more visa applications, might experience slight delays.
- The application must be submitted no later than one month before the start of the school term and can be applied for a maximum of two months in advance.
The specific process may vary depending on individual circumstances and the requirements of the school.
Steps for Student Visa Application
- Successfully received the Letter of Acceptance from a Singaporean school.
- Submit the student visa application to the ICA of Singapore.
- Upon approval, the ICA issues a IPA to the student
- Student arrived Singapore with the IPA and passport and schedules an appointment (online) with the ICA to obtain the student visa.
- Obtain a student visa.
